If Bruce Wayne becomes old and retires, who he might choose to become Batman. As I reckon John Blake seems like a decent cop in Gotham judging by the trailers and TV spots. I’m writing this as in it may happen in the middle of the film while Bruce is recovering from his injuries, so Blake might be a temporary Batman or at the end. Also I think Joseph Gordon levitt would be an excellent Batman.
Bruce Wayne: I told you I retired.
Lucius Fox: Mr. Wayne Batman is a symbol he doesn’t have to retire after you do.
Bruce Wayne: I think what you’re getting at is that I should find someone suitable to become the next Batman.
Lucius Fox: (Nods his head)
Bruce Wayne: I think I have someone in mind; he is one of the good cops, one of the few.
Lucius Fox: Who would this mystery man be?
Bruce Wayne: (answers with a smile) John Blake.
